Documenting Love for a living..
What better way to actually answer to what do you do for a living đŸ™‚
Weddings is my first love when it comes to photography.
Every couple, every family have their uniqueness and weddings have the power to bring all these people together into one big mega celebration.. The emotions that run through the day is my fuel and this allows me to tell your love story through my lens.
As a photographer knowing where your couples come from is really important to me. Â Meeting with them if possible or getting on a few phone calls totally helps to know what they look forward to and the experience I can offer to them on their Big Day.Â
Also, I plan and give them the timeline for the wedding day (If there is no event planner involved) Â since we are the first one’s to arrive and the last to leave and so it is important that everything runs smoothly and on time.
Now a days wedding photography seems to be categorised into two completely different moods.
– The dark and moody
– The light and classy
Both are good in their own ways and both also do have a audience.
I personally believe that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
Inspiration is everywhere and with every wedding season as we put it trends keep changing and do the editing style. But just some old edit style e.g. sepia or selective color like the bridal bouquet that did get out of style now, these too will or most will and hence I choose to keep my style “simple and clean and classy”
Now that I go through my images from the past to the present year I believe that as an artist your style be it clicking or editing or even looking at the situation at a wedding- the light the frame everything evolves including the final presentation i.e. the album layout and it all somehow represents the depth of your soul – the happiness and light that you are and those who see your work and relate to it would surely understand and resonate with your style and this is how I see my clients too.
I truly want to give my clients timeless photos that withstand the test of trends and styles and fads and 10,20, 50 years down the line when you flip through the memories of your wedding day you would still love them for what they depict and the way they remind you of your story..
