Virtual Maternity Photoshoot – lockdown 2020
So yes totally excited to showcase here a glimpse of how it was.. My first online Virtual photoshoot of this gorgeous Mom to be during this lockdown period.. Who would have thought times would lead us to this…
Sitting in my apartment in Mumbai and documenting this milestone for a Mom to be from Delhi..
Felt so proud I could do this for them – total strangers, just word of mouth and here we were planning how to go about this and sending pictures of the outfits and the house..
A lot of brainstorming and finally had it done — totally elated with the results..
Making the most of a difficult situation.
This year has been totally different than what we had all envisioned and at the same time it is teaching us so much more then we were ready to dive into..
I for one have always had circumstances around me in the last decade that were never permanent so I think my mind is somewhere trained to find a way around such situations..
When I thought of documenting this milestone for a mom to be, it meant so much to me to be able to give her some good memories to look back at and I’m grateful I can freeze moments such as these..
Was it difficult? Yes, not everyone knows how to be in front of the camera, nor equipped with lights and tripods so we had to made do with tables and books to place the phone and the May heat there in Delhi made it difficult for her too..
Was it worth it? Totally!!! Even if they aren’t high resolution images but a memory is a memory to hold on to.. She delivered a baby boy 4 days after this shoot 🙂
Imagine the child when he/she grows up will have a story to tell- When mama had me in her tummy, the world was at halt and she had this shoot done by a photographer from a different state via a phone call 🙂
